Founded in 1949, the NYS 4-H Foundation supports 4-H youth development activities throughout New York State through tax-deductible donations primarily directed to:

(1) State program incentives,
(2) Grants for county 4-H programs,
(3) Opportunity scholarships for youth.

Our Mission

The NYS 4-H Foundation cultivates, secures, and stewards financial resources to support the Cornell Cooperative Extension New York State 4-H program in developing and delivering superior 4-H youth development programs.

By providing innovative and engaging programming in science, healthy living and citizenship, 4-H continues to provide high-quality positive youth development opportunities that prepare today’s youth to tackle the world’s biggest challenges.
